The best executed plan for using custom rubber stamps doesn't involve slamming it into an ink pad and then applying it to the surface you want to stamp. First, you want to make sure that you are stamping on a level surface. Secondly, when you do apply paint or ink to your custom rubber stamps, try to do so with a paint pen or a small brush. Coat the bottom of the stamper evenly. Apply lightly and carefully. It's easier to add more paint or ink, and not so easy to remove excess paint or ink. Finally, when you do apply the custom rubber stamp to the paper or surface you are stamping, make sure to press the stamp down firmly and evenly so that the design elements are applied all at once.
